Favourite Widows Sons trip: France 2022, we visited Aubigny Sur Nere Franco Ecossaise festival in France, having toured the D Day landing beaches in the company of WS from Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, France and Canada. 1800miles of great roads , great food and a belly load of laughs , I have gained literally hundreds of new friends.
What I would say to any prospective member thinking of joining The Widows Sons: You only get out of it what you put into it, get out as much as you can with like minded brethren and enjoy yourself, that’s what you bought the bike for.

3 Things I enjoy most about being a member of The Widows Sons:
- True Brotherhood- Friends all over the world. Always a friendly ear when needed.
- Gets you out on your bike more, you get to see parts of the country that you may never have seen before.
- Camping out is great fun and there has been plenty opportunity to get the tents out.
Favourite Widows Sons trip: France was great, riding in the hot sunshine was a definite highlight. However my favourite ride out was up to Oban where we were able to do some island hopping and ended up at Fingal’s cave on the island of Staffa. Dolphins, eagles and lots of rain as well as the cave itself made this one of the best runs I can remember over my time in WSS.
Most notable experience of The Widows Sons: The Duncarron branding is an experience that will never be forgotten by any brothers that have the privileged to attend. Since my own branding I have routinely attended as a helper and do my best to make the branding as special as I can for all newly branded members.
What I would say to any prospective member thinking of joining The Widows Sons: Come along and have a few readouts with the guys. You will be made most welcome and we will be happy to escort you on some introductory ride outs. If its for you and you enjoy the banter then we can sign you up. If its not for you then we can part as brothers.
